Things to Do in SF: Outer Sunset
Grab a cup of coffee and walk along Great Highway
There are so many great coffee shops all over San Francisco, including the popular Java Beach and Andytown Coffee Roasters which both have multiple locations in the Sunset. If you're looking to try out something different, Boavida on 46th & Taraval is the newest kid on the block. From the smoothies and lattes to their local goods and market fresh bread, everything is delicious and their staff is so friendly!
Brunch at Beachside Coffee Bar and Kitchen
Beachside is hands down my favorite place to get breakfast in the Sunset. Be prepared to wait if you go on a weekend morning (the later you go, the longer the wait). With that said, the wait is most definitely worth it. They have an incredible selection on their breakfast menu from breakfast burritos to waffles to my personal favorite, the Croque Monsieur. If you need someone to go with, let me know and I'll be happy to accompany you!
Swing by White Cap for a night cap
Their clever name isn't the only cool thing about this fun bar on Taraval. They have a great selection of specialty cocktails (try the Monkey Wrench!) and plenty of space to lounge and hang out, including a fireplace in the back.
Polly Ann Ice Cream
Polly Ann's is my go-to spot when I'm craving a scoop of ice cream in the Sunset. If you're indecisive like me, you will either love this place because you have SO many options or you will hate it because you can NEVER make a decision. If you really can’t make up your mind… get a double: one scoop Oreo Coffee and one scoop Kookie Dough Boy.
